We are a start-up with our office in the surroundings of Bavaria’s Capital Munich. With its rural surroundings closeness to nature, the city is a hot spot to bring sustainable ideas to life.

Our team’s mission is to provide eco-friendly flips-flops that set your feet free. Especially in use cases where you want to comfortably and quickly wear them. The idea came to us when trying to put flip-flops on while walking with a tray out to our terrace. The flip-flops just always point in an inconvenient direction. We asked ourselves – why do we need a left and right side for flip flops? After several tryouts and material research - as it turns out we don’t. The new and EU registered design of our shoes hold better your feed than normal flip-flops due to the uniquely centered positioned and durable straps. The design also keeps your feet in place in situations where the shoe sole gets wet. Compared to T-shaped flip-flops where your heals might slip around, Floaters keep your feed comfortably in place. And the best part, you can wear them how you want – left shoe on right foot and the other way around. The core of our brand is to ensure all those features by using just eco-friendly and recyclable material. And due to the unique design – we save lots of material in the production process by producing the same shoe design for both feet.

Our shoe maker partner in Portugal crafts our Floaters in the vicinity of Porto, one of the shoe maker hot spots of Portugal. The company has its history in the beautiful city of São João da Madeira - the town, which was once considered the Footwear Capital. In terms of expertise, our partner employs shoe makers with more than 50 years of experience in shoemaking.
